A surreal fallen angel embodies the mysterious energy of DJ Viva’s new single
Saudi-Canadian DJ and music producer DJ Viva unveils her latest sonic creation, Dark Angel, a single that delves deep into the interplay of light and shadow through its compelling techno soundscapes.
With a concept rooted in the duality of illumination and obscurity, Dark Angel envelops listeners in an ethereal ambience that bridges the realms of the mystical and the enigmatic.
The release is accompanied by a visually captivating artwork created by Yusif Aman, featuring a surreal depiction of a woman suspended in mid-air on an aerial hoop, her wings dark and otherworldly, conjuring the image of a fallen angel. This visual not only complements the track’s atmospheric depth but also reflects its thematic core—a delicate balance of strength, beauty, and enigmatic allure. The juxtaposition of techno rhythms against the celestial yet shadowy figure symbolises a dance between the divine and the unknown, offering a visual representation of transcendence.
DJ Viva’s creative portfolio spans across diverse domains, with music remaining at the forefront of her artistic expression. She first made waves in 2018 with her production debut, Sunwaves, and has since continued to shape her sonic narrative through tracks such as Unapologetic, Velvet Electricity, Distorted Echo, Vibras de Verano, Horizon, and Gravity. Her most recent release before Dark Angel was the 2022 collaboration with Asayel on the single Utopia. Beyond her musical endeavours, DJ Viva holds the position of Music Director at MFC Saudi and serves as co-founder and partner at 7Zenith Business Consultancy, reflecting her multifaceted engagement with both the creative and business aspects of the arts industry.
