The show happened past October
One of the notable recent works by Australian audio-visual artist Robin Fox, who excels in live performance, exhibitions, public art projects, and designs for contemporary dance, was the debut of his new AV show ICON at the Sydney Opera House, one of the most remarkable works of 2023.
In celebration of the Opera House's 50th anniversary, Fox collaborated with Genius Laser Technology to craft an extraordinary laser show. This dazzling event, powered by over 1600 watts of laser energy, was meticulously orchestrated from two strategic locations around Sydney Harbour. The lasers vividly mapped the North and West facades of the Opera House, creating a stunning audiovisual experience that enthralled millions along the harbour.
Robin Fox's laser artistry, which synchronises sound and visual electricity in hyper-amplified 3D spaces, has been showcased in over 50 cities worldwide. The Sydney Opera House performance stands out as one of the most remarkable achievements in his illustrious career.
