December 6 will see fabric hosting a visual and sonic tribute to UK rave culture
fabric is gearing up to host a captivating exhibition on December 6, showcasing the work of the London artist Charlotte Archer, celebrated for her striking depictions of UK music icons.
Titled “UK Underground Rave Culture”, the exhibition spotlights Archer's vibrant paintings of legendary figures such as Stevie Hyper D, Kano, Mike Skinner, GQ, Heartless Crew and the late DJ Randall, capturing the essence of a defining era in British music.
Archer’s work will be complemented by contributions from a host of creatives whose work has inspired her artistic journey. Highlights include pieces by ‘90s and 2000s fashion stylist and archivist Rhiannon Isabel, rave-era photographer Tristan O’Neil, and visionary artist Junior Tomlin.
Hosted by Mighty Moe of Heartless Crew fame, the event will feature live performances from the host himself, alongside DJ sets by Jamie Rodigan and Normski, creating a seamless blend of music and visual culture.
The exhibition will take place in Room 2 of the iconic Farringdon venue, running from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. It will lead into a vibrant nighttime programme across Rooms 1, 2 and 3, with performances from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Oneman, Mantra, Disrupta with DRS, Zero T, DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, and more.
