The Rotterdam-based artist’s self-titled debut album is available on vinyl
Featuring six meticulously crafted tracks, Cosmic Bride’s self-titled debut album offers a captivating blend of contemporary classical and jazz through the lens of avant-pop, seamlessly merging lush string quartet arrangements with dynamic electronic grooves.
The album’s visual counterpart is equally striking, with the artwork created by visual artists Cvéti Zabiela and Dmitriy Kiyan. Their collaboration mirrors the album’s rich interplay of contrasts—merging organic textures with modern design elements to encapsulate Cosmic Bride’s signature aesthetic.
Before the album’s release, Cosmic Bride shared a mesmerising video for one of the tracks, “How Language Shaped the Silence”, describing it as an exploration of “what exists between sound and silence.” The piece, a deeply personal work, takes listeners on a contemplative journey, reflecting her gratitude to those who helped bring it to life.
